Designed by our Managing Director and with the co-operation of a number of well known salmon bait anglers. When fishing worm and prawn the rod is held for considerable periods of time so needs to be lightweight and extremely well balanced. When fishing the prawn, often without a float, the line needs to be held high from the water so when you get a bite the rod must respond with speed. This is where the Distinction Specialist excels because the blank has real feeling with a very fast action, ideal for bite registration. The rods have a longer than normal cork handle so you can tuck the base of the butt into your groin for longer handling periods. Supplied with quality full cork handles and graphite screw reel fitting. Quality lined butt ring with single leg SIC guides throughout and folding hook keeper. Deep brown 40 tonne carbon blank with high gloss whippings and tippets. Engraved end caps complete these magnificent rods. Available in two versions, 12ft 2 piece, and 12ft 3 piece for easy storage.
